5.0 out of 5 stars Great little stove, September 16, 2011

The Primus Classic Trail Stove is a decent little stove. It is very well built and is not going to let anyone down on the mountain. Used for several multiple day backpacking trips. Seems extremely reliable and features a large base that prevents tips with large or even smaller pots. The one thing I would caution is to check out its weight. It is built really well but that may also mean more grams than you would like in your stove. Also wish it would fit into the the pot and allow the pots to close and fit inside like my other stove. I would recommend this to anyone needing a solid stove. It is not limited to what cookware you can use with this like other stoves so it makes it much more universal!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent little stove, September 20, 2011

I've had/used the Primus Classic Trail stove the past 3 years and it has performed flawlessly each and every time. The pot support has been surprisingly effective, even with larger pots, pans, and kettles. On typical trips, the stove is in its stuff sack in a kettle. I don't have the piezo igniter ... use matches instead.
